(Day 64) An ant's view of eternity

I tried to visualize myself as an ant with the goal of walking to the horizon along these tracks - that would seem to me to be incomprehensible - as an ant. I have a similar difficulty envisioning eternity. I think most people do.

I always love photos of railroad tracks.
Yours is wonderful, and the lovely snow adds to ;)

Great, great job!

Thanks Avery - our snow is rapidly disappearing, but we could easily get a foot again next week - I try to include a little for you whenever I can ;)

I remember as a kid I'd try to imagine infinity and how far space goes on forever and it would scare the beejeebies out of me. It still does. Great post. Keep up the good work.

I hear you Scott. Even reading about 'light years' doesn't bring it any closer to my understanding. Thanks for the comments.

The composition is amazing, but one thing I'll surely would not want to be is an ant ;).

What a great perspective, Rick!

I can just picture a little ant, with a toothpick over his shoulder. Tied to the toothpick is all of his worldly possessions, bundled in a red and white candy wrapper.

Ah yes, he's a Hobo Ant. ;o)
