(Day 71) Sing me a song, you're the piano man ...

I seem to be on a musical theme the last couple of days ... the only thing missing from this photo is Billy Joel in glass slippers! Music is a great gift and I admire those who have the ability to play an instrument well. I'm sure if King David had had a piano back in his day, he would have used it as accompaniment for the psalms. Of course it would have restricted his mobility a bit, unlike the harp and lyre.

I love this photo Rick, did you use any type of a filter?

I just figured out why your photos weren't coming up on my blog dashboard, I thought I was following you and nope I wasn't. I am now! :-)

Have a fantastic weekend!

@darlin - thanks for the comments, and for following! No - no filters used. Just my 60mm macro lens, a tripod, and a dark room with a little side lighting.

You're right, music is a gift, but so is photography. You did a very good job on this one especially with the lighting. (Pet af).

Wow, this is really beautiful! I love the slight lighting and the way the piano catches every little bit of light available.

Music has always been a huge part of my life - it brings me joy and peace. :o)

@Krista - thank you. I agree on the music - I have several thousand songs of all kinds of varieties on my computer - I put the headphones on, sit back and relax :)
