(Day 123) Apple blossom time

Who would have believed that less than a week ago our weather looked like this! Well, it's made a 180 degree turn and the apple trees have suddenly burst into full bloom - another reason why "it's the most wonderful time of the year!" (I'll bet you sang that line :-)

Rather than blather on, I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

@Lisa & S. Etole - thank you Lisa and Susan; I had a great time walking through the orchard earlier this evening.

Well... isn't that a switch. I woke up to a blanket of snow everywhere. I suppose I deserved it after chortling at you last week. ;o) But it is all good, I am a happy camper.

I am happy for you that all is right with your world again. Keep on enjoying the spring sunshine. This photo is incredible. The lighting is particularly fabulous in the second shot.

These are all beautiful Rick! My favorite one is the top one, it seems to tell a story.

I love the pink in these. I've found I use the word delicate a lot this spring, but I can't 2025find a word that fits better. Very nice.

@Krista - ouch! (I won't chortle - snow in April is one thing, but snow in MAY - ugghhh!). Thanks for your comments.

@Photog Ave - thank you Avery! I was lost in a sea of blossoms :)

@darlin - the story could be about 'more to come' - not all the buds had burst yet nor were all the trees in bloom. Thank you.

@Scott - thank you Scott. I really liked the pink ones too but I also found a couple of trees with pure white blossoms - I had one shot of those against the green of cedar but figured 3 shots was enough.

Gidday Rick ... these apple blossoms sure do speak such a beautiful language! They're beautiful photos...I especially like pinky coloured haze around the blossom in the last photo!! I would love the 3 of these photos framed & hanging in my bedroom...so pretty!!

Those are lovely! I love the blossoms on the trees in the spring. There's something so celebratory about them. :)

@Lisa (Mountain Photog) - thanks Lisa & I completely agree. Out here the countryside is awash in various blossoms and the fragrance is wonderful!
