Here comes the sun ...

Our 2 youngest daughters arrived late Sat. night as the last of our immediate family to trade the weather up north for a week of warmth and sun with us. They weren't disappointed - today we reached 30C/86F, and enjoyed a full day of sun, which warmed the pool up to the same temperature. After church this morning they couldn't wait to plunge into the warm water and soak up the rays. It's always amazing that the same sun that brings us such warmth here fails to ward off the arctic cold up north.

This evening we went for a drive to one of our favourite places in time to enjoy the sun again as we strolled around the harbour. In honour of Sunset Sunday I'm sharing just a bit of what we saw.

Stunning view. I missed adding this week.
Have a wonderful time in the heat with your family. I miss the sun from Hawaii. Its gray but not that cold and I still have two feet of snow in my yard.

We only have so many sunrises and sunsets in our lifetime. I never tire of seeing them.

Thank you, Lisa. We're enjoying these weeks with regular visits from different family members. Hopefully spring and warmth is coming your way to melt the rest of the snow !

Indeed it was, Cat ! How faithfully it's presented every evening for our enjoyment and wonderment !

Oh Dawn - brrr; enduring that at this stage of the season takes fortitude. Pack a suitcase - there's room on the lanai ;-)

Darlene - we do have blessed assurance that season will follow season - despite appearances to the contrary. Bring an air mattress - there's room on the lanai beside Dawn !

We will, Monika - thank you !

Thanks Magda; we're all enjoying the abundant sun and warmth.

Gracias, Manolo - I hope it arrives there soon too !

Thank you, Becky. We're acclimatized to the 80's now - would be tough to go back to 60's (but we will when we head back north).

Thank you, Scott. Another of those golden moments to be treasured, especially when shared.
