Smoke on the water ....

Depending on your monitor, you might see some deep purple here. The scene is not Montreux, but our back yard late on a nice spring evening. I was reminded of a chorus of a well-known rock number when I made some photos of this sunset. You might know it too - if not, you can have a listen here.

Stunning sunset Rick, you've done a magnificent job capturing it as well. That song gives me nightmares, my older sisters used to take off my Bed-knobs and Broomsticks album off and put on their Deep Purple when I was about ten, I don't think I've ever forgiven them for that one! lol

Hee Rick, hoe staat het leven er daar voor. Zo te zien heel erg mooi. I've missed out on much (again...sigh seems to be the story of my life right now) but I"m soooooo busy om mijn eigen bedrijfje op te zetten tja als fotograaf en das nog nie zo makkelijk.
So I'm trying to stay focused on blog but it's kinda hard. Loved Sasha and the postcard pics and everything else from there up to here. Missed you buddy.
Keep up the fun work.
Hugs Dagmar

Merci, Marty ! I appreciate your kind words, and especially the poppy-red bisous ! I wish you a wonderful week, and since we have beaucoup de warmth, I blow some warm bisous over to you ;-)

LOL - I think the song I was thinking about predates you by quite a few years Elizabeth ! ;-) Reveals my age I guess. Thanks ;-)

Thank you Leslie ! (the purple was only in my head ;-)

You got it, Tammy ! ;-)

Thanks Karin; yes, we have no obstructions to the west (being in the countryside), and we have a small landing on the 2nd storey - I get a lot of sunsets there (not this one).

Thanks for your kind words, Betty !
