Are we there yet ?

I have some favourite areas I like to go and visit, particularly when fall colours are at their prime. Yesterday I decided to go on a test drive to gauge how the Master's fall decorating was progressing, before I visit a few of my favourite places. I'll let you judge.

(these were made with an 18-55mm lens at f11, ISO200, and various shutter speeds)

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful and the last one is stunning. I'm partial to water shots, probably because I'm not near any open waters, just a few man made puddles which they call lakes.

God sure is an amazing artist and He gave you the amazing gift of capturing His handiwork!

Cheers my friend! I'm going to be playing catch up when I'm caught up to my studies... see you in about 2 1/2 months! lol Just kidding, but this application for Australia set me back a few days... as Schwarzenegger said "I'll be back." :-)

Oh, wow, I so enjoy looking at my Canadian friend's blogs and seeing the colors of fall. Some of our popcorn trees are beginning to turn, but that's about it. Hope you have a great weekend, Rick.

I simply love them all, although I'm not fond of Autumn.
Why? Cause I feel awful. I'm sure I'll die on a beautiful sunny Autumn day... many years from now!!!!!!!

Thank you, Lisa; yes, the colours are becoming more vivid by the day.

I did miss the oranges and reds of autumn when I lived in Alberta, although the larches set against the green of the pines were always gorgeous. Thank you Darlene - I always appreciate you taking the time out to come and visit, and your kind comments. And I'm so looking forward to seeing what you'll experience down under ! Have an awesome weekend !

Thank you, Laura - the 'cold' does bring its own rewards ;-) Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Thank you, Lisa - getting cooler here too (7C tomorrow !).

Nice of you to drop by, Brenda, and leaving such a nice comment. Do come by for a visit again. soon.

Oi Ná, but autumn is so beautiful - nothing can befall you when surrounded by such beauty. Thank you for your visit and have a safe weekend ! Beijos !

Thank you very much, Betty ! Enjoy a lovely autumn weekend.

I love the field....but the water makes me want to go sit right beside it and watch the leaves turn.

Hey there Rick .. I hope this comment finds you and your family all well. Sorry I've not been around in quite some time, I have just been so terribly busy. I have missed my time in blogland. My time is still scant for anything other than work & study. I have so much on my plate at the moment. Your Fall photos are beautiful as always Rick and I'm glad you shared your special places with us. I have some photos myself that I will probably post sometime tonight if I get the chance but here in the land of oz there is colour bursting all around.
