Speechless Saturday

(well almost ...)

No, I'm not starting a competition with Wordless Wednesday ;-) I had a lot of thoughts running through my head as I was reviewing shots from a recent evening photo shoot, and in the end I decided just to post the shots. There, I've already said too much.

You have good colours in your photos!
My favourite is the last one, I like the reflections and seeing the boats I always imagine that someone is going to have a good time.
Have a good weekend Rick! ;-)

Great shots. Just looking at them makes me think 'warm'.Maybe the fact that all is white outside also helps.

It's a beatuiful place!

No, it's not mine. I only have a dog. One day I will put a photo of her in the blog :b
Seriously? That's huge!

I think my favorites are the last two - love the patterns in the palm trees against the sky and the light shining through the fence. And I always love harbor lights...

Good photos usually don't need a lot of explanation, but usually I can't help myself. Love these night photos. Great job.

Thank you, Lúcia ! One of my favourites too, and I liked the reflections - they work out great when the water is really calm. Enjoy a great weekend !

Thank you, Karin; I hope yours is already a good one.

Thanks, Ruth. Oh oh - everything already all white - that seems like an early start to winter, well, perhaps not in Manitoba !

Obrigado, Soraia. I'd like to see a photo of your dog some day. About our plecko - yes, I think he's taking over the tank !

Thank you, Leslie - we only just 'discovered' this place a couple of weeks ago - I had to return to get some shots here; it's such a lovely place - especially on a warm evening.

Thank you, Scott (and I know what you mean ;-) I'm fond of night shooting - just don't get out often enough.

Hallo, Dag ! Groetjes.

Thank you, Tricia - yes, Florida and warmth at their finest ! We're revelling in it.

Ha ha - thanks Saz (hope the cat didn't get your tongue ;-) Have a great weekend !

Thank you, Ioan !

Thanks, Lisa - it was very enjoyable wandering around there on a warm evening (although the no-see-ums did take their toll). Hope your weekend is going well.

Bon soir, Marty et thank you pour your very nice mots ! And of course the beaucoup de bisous you send me because it is (well, almost) dimanche ;-) I too love the dreamy quality of the harbour shot - I'd almost be prêt à sail away into the dream. Have a wonderful dimanche aussi and si it's still froid there then allow my bisous chaud to warm your fin de semaine un peu ! (I do after all, live in a bilingual pays !).

Thank you kindly, Stewart !

Teca - you always have a way with words. Thank you for coming by and leaving a warm comment - I always appreciate it very much ! I hope your spring is bringing you beauty and warmth - enjoy it along with a thousand beijos !

Wow Rick! These are all so crystal clear, the evening light is amazing and I see that paradise really exists. I wanna go to Florida and get away from this harsh winter weather! Mind you in about 2 months I'm going to be saying "It's too hot!"

Have a fantastic Sunday! How can you not being in paradise? ;-)

Thank you, Susan !

Yes it does, Elizabeth - especially in the 2nd shot - I think it's the effect of the full moon behind the palms (which I deliberately 'placed' there since it was so bright). Indeed it was a beautiful place to spend a couple of hours.

Thank you joey - and we certainly consider ourselves blessed to be able to be here !

Thank you very much, Lasse !

LOL - thank you, Darlene ! I used a small aperture to put as much in focus as possible, and a tripod - a must for night shots. And yes, it does feel a bit like paradise when it's 27C in the evening with a gentle breeze swaying the palms. But you'll soon be experiencing that and sharing it with us ;-) Have a wonderful week !

Hello BShell and thank you for visiting and leaving such a nice comment. Have a wonderful week !
