Tarry a moment ...

Softly the evening came. The sun from the western horizon
Like a magician extended his golden wand o'er the landscape;
Twinkling vapours arose; and sky and water and forest
Seemed all on fire at the touch, and melted and mingled together.

(Henry Wadsworth Longfellow)

Absolutely stunning. And Longfellow's poem says it well.

Rick this is a breathtaking shot, I'm sure by now you know how much I LOVE reflections as well as sunsets and this one by far has me at a loss for words... it's either this photo or the lengthy response to your comment on my blog which I just finished! ;-)

Seriously, this is stunning! I'm intoxicated by the beauty of God's handiwork and in your skills and talent of capturing it.

Rick,

You take some of the most beautiful sunset & silhouette shots of all! Absolutely beautiful! God makes them possible & you highlight His work!!!

You're very right about us being close to the day where ppl can't distinguish between right and wrong... I believe we're there... I'm always saying, forgive them, Lord, for they know not what they do... It's scary how people twist things to suit themselves, isn't it.

God bless you & may He have mercy on us all. =)
