The Harbour

[after the shock - to some - of the subject of the last post, I was asked if I would post something a little more pleasant. Alright then ...]

I went down to The Harbour (yes, that's the spelling of the name of this place even though it's in Florida) to catch a sunset. We shall soon be saying a temporary goodbye to places like this for a long, but brief, trip up north to celebrate Christmas with family.

Given the late hour I'll share just a few shots with you - will post the sunset in a few days.

Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies.
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly ...
(Lucy In the Sky ... The Beatles)

les couleurs sont superbes !
but j'aime aussi les petites bêtes! j'ai appris à les aimer et les respecter since I see and make macros!
dear Rick I wish you wonderful fêtes de fin d'année, dans la neige et le froid mais en famille!heart is warm !
it snows here since half an hour and all is already white !

Beautiful! The calmness of the water and the reflection is very soothing. The colors you captured in the last shot really set the mood!

Yikes, I'm sorry I scrolled down to take a look at the insect in the previous post :( But your new pictures more than make up for that. Gorgeous colours and reflections in the water. As a fan of your blog I'm sending you some blogger love and nominating you for a Liebster Award! To accept you have to list 11 random facts about yourself and nominate 11 other bloggers you like (who have 200 followers or less.) Very pretty scenes. Much better than an insect which makes me shudder. :)

It's very pleasant there...sun and warmth! You captured a beautiful night atmosphere! In Romania it is cold and snowing.
Many greetings!

Rick you've done it again, totally WOWED me with your talents. The lighting is phenomenal, the clarity is stunning and the pictures themselves make me want to pack a suitcase and come house sit for you in Florida while you're here for Christmas! lol

It's good to hear from you again, your kind words and beautiful shots are missed. I've been so busy as you've seen, but there's still time to think of others and how they're doing and I have thought of you once or twice. Then again you have sunshine, sand, and beaches... who has the time to blog with all that going on? ;-)

Wishing you a safe trip home, take care and have an astounding day!

Hallo Rick,
Groetjes, Joke

In comparison to those snowdrifts around our house, the places in your photos look like from another reality! :)

I like especially the first photo, it's pleasantly "soft".

Sooo easy picturing myself on a boat in this environment...sigh.
Kind a nasty to trick me into some place like this while we have buckets of rain....urg.

And in a way the pictures look surreal. They are drop dead gorgeous.
Happy times to you my friend.
Hugs Dagmar
