Up for air

Before the month of June slips quietly around the corner and into the pages of history, I had to come back here to let anyone who still comes by for a visit know that I haven't abandoned blogging.

My shutter finger has still been getting a workout although primarily for commercial photography. I finished processing the last of a series of shoots today. I went back into my archives looking for a shot to post. The one I posted was made on our trip to Calgary last summer, and it reminded me of how quickly time has flown, which in turn reminded me of this:

Time, like an ever rolling stream,
Bears all its sons away;
They fly, forgotten, as a dream
Dies at the opening day.

I hope all of you still active in blogland are doing well, and I shall make my visitation rounds as time permits.

Love the running brook....and the lightening pics on your previous post. Everytime we get a storm I try for those, haven't gotten them yet.

Hi Rick, glad to see you in blogland again. Keep it up,once a month to keep in touch with everyone better than you MIA totally. :))

That's a beautiful picture. Very impressive and love your header picture too. Your photography skill really impress me.

I'm cutting down in my posting too, make it once or twice a month to keep in touch with friends. Can't afford to post so often as I got so many other hobbies to play. LOL

With warmest regards. Have a wonderful weekend.

Bloggers komen altijd weer terug, het zijn net boemerangs. Fijn dat je weer wat plaatst, een mooie waterval.

Hi Rick,

time goes by faster and faster (the older you get) and that is why you should enjoy every second of this wonderful life on our unique planet. Wonderful photo that fits exactly on this topic.

It would be nice if you could still visit the blogland once in a while. I had been absent, too, for quite sometime when I was pregnant. Now that I'm back, I hope to see more of your beautiful chits again! The flowing stream is stunningly beautiful!

Hoi Rick,

I'm gravitating more toward black and white. I'm needing some new inspiration -- a change. I haven't blogged regularly and hope a new perspective will help.

Hi Rick, I've not been too active in Blogland either & it was lovely to see you'd visited at my place. Life's been busy, busy, busy for me too. The photo is beautiful. A place I would visit, if only I could. Lovely!
