(Day 105) Pretty in pink ...

... but I bet Molly didn't have stubble like this one! I'm not sure what this flower is called but it's an early one and has a number of pink clusters on it. I googled early spring pink flowers and there were 2,970,000 results. (I think God had a lot of fun when He was designing flowers to decorate the world). Maybe our sleuth (Avery) who figured out what my 'weed' was will be able to tell us what this one is.

I'm really glad spring is here - I hope you don't mind flower shots 'cause I like them and you'll likely see a bunch more.

Oh, and I did find a real dandelion today - our first - and I thought I'd post it to distinguish it from the coltsfoot I posted 2 days ago:

I have to get outside here on Saturday and get some of our new shoots shot! And who cares how many pictures of flowers we take? They're all beautiful!

I agree with Lucy, never enough flower shots! I am looking forward to posting some when they come up here.

Now I have to go back, I didn't think that could be a dandelion, this here IS a dandelion.

And yes we are blessed with such an array of flowers, each one wonderfully crafted by God himself.

@Katherine - thank you, and I'll check your blog for your flower shots. Can't have too many of them.

@The Lucy and Dick Show - I'll look forward to seeing them.

@darlin - hopefully it won't be too long before you have them. It's amazing how quickly we went from barren flower beds to flowers.

Looks like Pulmonaria, perhaps 'Raspberry Splash', Rick. Aren't dandelions fun to photograph! Oh happy spring :)

It does look somewhat like Pulmonaria.
This one is much harder to search for.
There are so many factors that I don't know about it, that makes it harder (e.g. - height, leaves, size). Also, it's not really a 'pink' color. It's like a cross between peach, salmon, and pink. From the picture, it looks like there are a lot of buds on the one stem.

Trust me, I will still be looking until I find out exactly what it is.

Great picture by the way ;)

@joey - I think you got it joey! I checked out a few other pictures on google and the leaves also look identical. Thank you. And yes, even the 'lowly' dandelion looks great.

@Avery - thanks for checking it out. From the looks of other pictures it does appear to be Raspberry Splash (what a great name!) pulmonaria. I think it was given to me by someone - I had it in the wrong place in the garden (too much sun) but moved it into a shadier area and it's doing great.

@Kyria - thank you. Yes - we've only just begun :)

Well, I think you can tell by all the comments that everyone wants more flower pictures! Me, too. It's very cool how you captured the one fuzzy bud opening into a flower. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks dandelions are pretty.

@CherylK - Yep - I think everyone loves the colours and varieties; flowers make such great subjects - and they pose so well! Agree on the dandelions :)
