A lot of us have been posting some of creation's finest works of beauty since spring has arrived. I thought I would take a bit of a departure from that for today's shot. We attended a dance recital, having as theme the story of Peter Pan, that one of my daughters was a participant in. The shot I took for today's post is a backdrop for an 'underwater' scene. I chose it for its vivid colours, and because it almost appears to be in 3D.

I can almost hear the ticking crocodile now. . . shhhh listen.
@Scott - LOL! Yes, we even saw the 'crocodile'.
Totally funky Rick! The colors are fantastic and I must say that you took me by surprise with this one, it is a nice change but one that I would have a tough time getting used to! :-)
That's so awesome that you got in a visit, took in a dance recital and spent some time with those you love, isn't that what life is really all about?
@darlin - LOL! Yep - I was looking at my shots from today and this one kinda jumped out at me. Sometimes it's good to break out and do the unexpected - life can't always be predictable :)
We had a super time at the recital with a lot of family supporting our daughter (and all the other dancers, of course).
Have a great weekend.
Really cool shot!

What a great set! Love it! The colours are awesome. The person who created the set deserves a medal...just wonderful! Thanks for sharing Rick!
Such pretty, vivid colors, Rick!! nice !
This is very creative, don't know if it was intentional though, but I love the colors and the fuzziness ;)
thanks for sharing this part of your day ... great colors
@Katherine - I agree; they did a super job on the set! Thanks for dropping by; hope your new week is already going well.
@bonifer - that's what really drew my attention to this one.
@M. Hassan - I took several of the backdrop before the dancers came out for this scene; of the ones I took, I found this one 'jumped' out for me - more so than the ones without the fuzziness so I went with this one. Thanks for your comment.
@S. Etole - thank you Susan; it was a wonderful day and an opportunity to support one of our children.
@Photog Ave - thanks Avery.
Very cool!
How awesome! Creative, bright, imaginative... three of my very favourite things!
@Kerri - thank you; Not what I expected in a Peter Pan production.
@Krista - kudos to the set designer - and lighting people! I just had to take the shot :)
oh wow!
