(Day 131) Doo, doo, doo, lookin' out my back door

Well, almost. (Were you singin' along ?) I was watching the birds and the bees get on with their business today among the trees and the flowers. For the most part they just ignored me as I pointed a Canon their way. The birds just flitted around - I'm sure it was on official bird business - and chirped happily. The flowers just exuded fragrance and beauty. All I had to do was look and press the shutter. Hope you enjoy looking as much as I did.

@Katherine - thanks for 'strolling' alongside Katherine. The birdie in the bottom photo was singing his heart out - I literally had to tiptoe through the flower garden to get near to him. Hope your day was wonderful too.

@darlin - LOL; thanks. You have a great one too!

These are great, but I really like the first and last shots.

The color, composition, and clarity of shot #4 is marvelous!
You should know how I am about birds by now- I love bird pictures, but they have to be really good to meet my standards, and the last shot, goes above and beyond!

I wonder how much of this went "unseen" before you picked up your camera. I know my world changed visually when I really started focusing through a lens. What gift!

@Photog Ave - thank you Avery; I'm glad the birdie co-operated by staying on that branch while I snuck up on him.
