For the beauty of the earth ...

"To look out at this kind of creation and
not believe in God is to me impossible."
       (Astronaut John Glenn)

"Beauty... is the shadow of God on the universe."
        (Gabriela Mistral, Desolacíon)

“You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honour and power,
        for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
        and have their being.”
        (Revelation 4:11)

"For since the creation of the world,
God's invisible qualities - his eternal
power and divine nature - have been
         clearly seen, being understood from
what has been made, so that men are
         without excuse."

Thanks Rick for your visit....Wow what area of Florida are you in? I would Love to escape even if just a week from our winter's frosty grip but then travel has become so complicated these days. I really do Love to take advantage of Winter's challenges and the quiet that we find in our Forest...void of tourists!I stay away from the Snowmobile Trails and crowded ski hills!

My dear friend Rick, hi
Many thanks for so kind words for my country!
Indeed, many believe that Greece is only for summer holidays!
In fact, offered for all types of holiday!
It has high mountains suitable for skiing, walking, has rivers suitable for rafting has gorgeous villages for rural tourism and generally suitable for all types of alternative tourism!
I wish you, you and your family to visit Greece one day!
Many greetings

Rick you woke me right up tonight, the vibrant colors are astounding, as are your photos. I love your quotes, the first one I've used before and the other three I say Amen!

Have a wonderful weekend my fortunate friend, mind you if I look a wee bit deeper I'll find color in my world as well. Until this semester is over there's no time for hunting for it though so thank you for putting some color in my life! ;-)

Hello BlueShell - we don't give thanks enough, do we. How many squabbles could be prevented by doing that !

Hi Darlene - we count ourselves blessed to be able to enjoy this part of the Creation at this time. As you said, there's beauty and colour to be found everywhere (if we have time to find it, of course ;-) May your week be a good one, and may all your essays be submitted on time with a minimum of stress !

Thank you, Nancy - a solution of vinegar and water seems to really have perked up the plants.
