When the playing's done

Our son, daughter-in-law, and 2 year old grandson escaped winter's (rather loose) grip to come and visit us for a couple of weeks. Of course that entails visits to any place with slides and swings and things like that. Amidst the countless captures of family (naturally) there were also the occasional moments to capture a very brief moment of solitude:

Now I couldn't let this opportunity pass without letting you have a peek at who's driving the daily agenda around here:

Awww, what a precious child, he sure looks like his granddaddy! It's no wonder he's running the show, if Mommy and Daddy say no, just ask Grandpa or Grandma! ;-)

The sunset is stunning and guess what, for a change I'm not even green with envy, funny how that works eh?

I love that song I copied the lyrics of on my post, too bad I can't download it, the data here is blasted expensive. My roomie showed me how to download songs from You Tube into MP3 format, way too awesome and as soon as I get some spare data (will check near month end) I'm going to download that song.

Keep on doing exactly what you are, life is way to short not to. :-)

Cheers from down unda. hehe

Your grandson is adorable. I bet you're all having fun entertaining him (or being entertained by him, which at that age is usually the case). Enjoy! Thanks for your comments on our snow. You're right, the driveway looks better covered in white. :) Pamela

Thank you everyone for your visit and lovely comments. Our most recent guests (son, daughter-in-law, grandson) spent a fabulous 2 weeks with us and have returned north where they eagerly anticipate spring. The next refugees (daughter, son-in-law, 2 granddaughters) from the not-quite-finished winter arrive here in less than 48 hours for a 2-week respite.

I will visit as many of you as time permits.
