Well it is the season after all. As the saying goes : "April showers bring May flowers" although we're already getting the flowers, and today some rain. I suppose in some more temperate regions the saying might be "February showers bring March flowers", but it just doesn't have that same ring to it.

Wow, you're sure getting a downpour! Awesome capture of the rain drops splattering down on the ground!
This shot is awesome, awesome, awesome Rick!
At first I had to look hard to figure it out, but I really love it!

Hi Rick!
I'm back! ;) and I'm still loving your shots. What an awesome splash. Love it!
Wonderful Rick... a great shot!
Glad to see someone else likes water shots too.
Nice and sharp capture Rick.
@darlin - think how well the flowers will grow! Thanks for your comment.
@Avery - thank you; I found it was more effective in b&w (wasn't much colour out anyway :)
@Katherine - thanks Katherine!
@Katherine - thanks Katherine.
@imac - love them imac - thanks. You never get to see detail like this in 'real life'.
@M - hey, welcome back; will have to visit you too. Thanks for your comment.
Love this. Amazing splash!
FANTASTIC capture Rick!
Great clarity and contrasts.
Its fun visiting your blog. You never fail to please with such a wide variety of suject matter. I like that you took what you had and made a great photo out of it.
I've tried water drop photos and they can be really tough. To get one like that - in focus and timed so well is no small feat. Congratulations!!! Great shot!
@POD - thank you; just playin' in the rain :)
@.kat. - thanks.
@chad - it's part of the challenge, and ultimately the fun, of doing a 365. Some days I just don't have a clue about what to shoot - other days enough subject matter for a week. I guess today was a bit about making lemonade out of lemons :) Thanks for dropping by and your positive comment.
@Scott - thanks for your kind comment Scott. I really, really like my 70-200mm lens (it took most of my hockey refereeing money to buy but was well worth it).
Nice shot but I think you got my feet wet!
That's a great picture! You do a wonderful job capturing all the turbulence of the rain hitting the water.
@Don - thanks, and sorry :)
@Lisa - thank you; you don't normally associate turbulence with rain until you see it 'stopped' in action.
Oh I love this one!!! Amazing capture...
@lizzynash - thank you Liz.
