One of the biggest challenges in doing a 365 photo project, as anyone trying to do one is well aware, is finding a new subject for each new day. That has been made a little easier by the arrival of spring with so many plants and trees providing our subjects. I thought I would spread some of these out over several days, but as I started walking around today I decided I'd post more than just one selection. I guess that will leave me more of a challenge for the days ahead, but I'm sure something will come up.

I love your flora shots and I'm planning to take a shot of some bleeding hearts soon. Hope tomorrow's a nice day for that.
Thanks for warming up my heart with your spring shots!
I think you go above and beyond with your 365 project because you post several photos quite often. Nice shots on these flowers. I'm a big fan of the bleeding hearts this year. Next year it will probably be something else.
Thank you for visiting my blog. These photos are beautiful! You photos are certainly inspiring.
Wow, fantastic photos as usual Rick. I can't believe that your bleeding hearts are already in bloom, so not fair! lol
What is are the flowers in the first photo? They look like strawberry flowers to me.
And good for you to give yourself a challenge but I hope that you realize that you're in for more of a challenge in year two! :-)
Is that a Jack-in-the-Pulpit second from the top? Fun to see all of these things blooming already ... we had a skiff of snow this evening.
@M. Hassan - thank you M. Good luck with the bleeding heart and hope your weather cooperates tomorrow!
@Scott - I think sometimes I just get carried away a bit :) My bleeding heart was barely blooming a week ago and all of a sudden - poof! Glad you liked it; always appreciate your comments.
@Jeanne Klaver - thank you for visiting and following, in return, and for your kind words. I enjoyed visiting your blog and hope to do so regularly.
@darlin - I've got a great memory ... but it's short. I'd have to find the label again for the flowers in the first shot :) I know they're not strawberry flowers though. As for the bleeding heart it sure wasn't blooming a few days ago. Your turn will come :)
And I haven't signed up yet for year 2 of a 365 - getting through the first is tough enough. but fun. most of the time.
@S. Etole - thanks Susan. Yes, that's a jack-in-the-pulpit in that shot. I got it 'by accident' in the woods near a place we rented about 7 years ago - it wasn't blooming at the time. It's doing really well in a nice shady place just off the back deck.
Wonderful shots!!! I like specially the third one, beautiful colours.
I vote for Jack in the pulpits every year!
@cata - thank you cata - spring is always so colourful almost everywhere you look!
@The Lucy and Dick Show - they are a very unique specimen - glad I have one!
One (especially one) and four are my favorites!
Great work!

@Photog Ave - I was having a great time taking shots; spring is always so accommodating! Thanks Avery.
These are super! Spring is a perfect time for flower shots!
These are so awesome Rick! I can't wait until we have flowers blooming here; I'm so excited!
A 365 project takes extreme commitment, I admire you for that!
@Kerri - couldn't agree more; they do come at you so fast though - so much choice !
@Krista - thanks Krista; we'll still have something to look forward to then - Yukon flowers, when ours have gone to seed!
