Well, today was not one of those days. In fact, I had the opposite problem. I drove to a favourite place just a few minutes from home. I'd been here in the fall but hadn't yet seen it in the spring. I felt like I had died and gone to photographers' heaven. So bear with me as I post beyond the project 365 one-shot 'limit' (this is getting to be a habit).

You did indeed run into a photographer's heaven. I can't comment on every single image, but I love them all. I have a favorite though and that's the first picture.. Love the greenness of the trees and how the road leads one's eyes to the center of the photos.

Indeed it is and you took wonderful advantage. I especially liked the burgundy trillium and the fungi on the side of the tree, but all were great.
@Scott - you must have felt that way in Yellowstone.
Rick these are all great photos,but my favorite is the tree lined lane. I've always wanted to get a shot like that.
You could always use an archived photo like me. No one ever knows :)
Rick, I love picture number one! You did a wonderful job capturing the lane. It should be in a magazine.
But I've got to say, I do wish the puddle(?) wasn't in the frame. Although, it doesn't keep me from looking at the entire picture ;)
I've always wanted a shot like that too.

Don't you sometimes feel sorry for people who rush about their business and never take time to see the beauties of nature where ever they might be. We photographers are so lucky to see and appreciate all that God has given us!
