(Day 209) Fire on the waterfront

We found a little park this evening where we could walk along the waterfront and watch lightning perform its magic across the bay from us. The sun was doing its best to make a final appearance through the receding storm clouds before leaving us for points west. It almost seemed to me that there was a great conflagration occurring in and behind the clouds.

@Scott - thank you Scott; I was almost overwhelmed by the colours tonight, and the setting was perfect! Don't worry, I have enough for a month of Sundays ;-)

Ansel Adams is so right. "Sometimes God puts you in the right place at just the right time to get the shot!" I would say God must be standing right behind you, his hand on your shoulder...leading the way cause you my friend capture such wonderful pictures. Have a nice day!

@darlin - and we found this more by accident than by design - had intended to go elsewhere, couldn't find it and ended up here instead = serendipity!

@chasity - thank you. It just so happens that we were about to order some canvas prints, but hadn't quite yet (yep - I'm the last-minute kinda guy) - so glad my procrastination paid off ;-) - this one's on order now.
