You can tell we northerners aren't acclimatized yet to the heat (33C/92F) and humidity (90+%). The slightest exertion - like reaching for a cold drink - results in beads of perspiration. Even the mere act of thinking too much causes the face to flush. The only solution is to stop toiling, grab the tubes, and jump into the pool - which is at a refreshing 32C/90F ! Now, please don't misconstrue this as a complaint - far from it! If I had to really toil under the hot sun, I might grumble a bit, but since I don't, I'm soaking it up.

Awesome, colorful photo Rick and what an awesome way to spend the day! We also reached 33 degrees here today, and yup I didn't think today in fear of breaking out into that sweat you mentioned! lol
Oh dear Rick..my heart bleeds for you, you poor man. You have such a nasty job & the tools of your trade of horrific. Here in Australia we would say "You lucky bugger you!" What a hard day in the office for you! tee! hee! hee!
Happy splashing!
By the way the photo is good as usual...lovely, vibrant colours.
You mean going from 90% humidity to 100% is what the doctor ordered? Living out here in the west where the humidity is low,I don't know how you do it.
You are a VERY smart man! And, what a great DOF on these tubes too! Very cool composition, Rick!
Have fun making memories that will take you through the winter to come.
Blessings,Ruth
so glad you are not toiling in vain ... :-)
Very nice colors, makes the observer happy just by looking at the photo :-)
Greetz,
Joseph
We used to have those tubie things and beat each other over the head with them. Can we do that? (it's too late).
Love the colors though.
Seeing those makes me see happy people splashing around in a cool (Though 90F isn't that cool) pool and having a ball. I need to get - and use - some tools like those. Nice shot.
@darlin - wow, that's going to make it a HOT move! Smart of you to avoid more unnecessary perspiration through excessive thinking ;-)
Enjoy your weekend!
@Katherine - ha ha - thanks for the 'sympathy' :) It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it!
Hope your weekend is already off to a good start!
@Chad - LOL - I know what you mean Chad; we used to live out west where 60% humidity was considered HIGH!
@Carolyn Ford - thanks Carolyn - for recognizing I'm smart, of course ;-) LOL!
@Ruth's Photo Blog - thanks Ruth - always great to look at the photos again when the snow is swirling!
@ma thet zin - thank you for stopping by, and your nice comments.
@S. Etole - ha ha - that would be a bit like chasing after the wind!
@CarreraCaballo - thank you Joseph; mission accomplished!
@Janell - thanks for stopping by and commenting. It's never too late to have fun like that - it's only too late if you can't act like a kid anymore! When my kids come over (they're all over 25) we still do that.
@Scott - I never get tired of working with tools like that. Hope your weather is conducive to splashing around in a pool too. Thanks Scott - hope you're enjoying your semi-'retirement'.
Red white and blue -- whats that green doing in the pic?lol
@imac - for my Italian friends ;-)
