... I just had to go out and make a few photos. Family was visiting, and we were just going to have coffee and goodies, when I noticed a glorious sunset developing. How could I let such an opportunity pass ? (My wife says I have enough sunset shots, but can you ever have enough ??). I'll just share a couple, even though it isn't Sunset Sunday yet.

I can see how you couldn't resist sharing those. Beautiful!! But I hope you saved at least one for Sunset Sunday.

@Katherine - thank you Katherine - hope your weekend is/was awesome too.
@Scott - yes, I kept Sunset Sunday in mind over the past week :) Thank you.
@S. Etole - sunsets are so AWE-inspiring! Thank you Susan.
Mooie foto's Rick. Sunset is prachtig. Fijne Pinksterdag!
Oh no Rick you can never ever have enough of those.#1 is awsome.....
Zullen we een keer ruilen, jij hier wandelen in het Geuldal in Limburg ik mooi foto's schieten van jullie prachtige zonsondergangen...uhmmm lijkt me wel wat. Doen we gewoon aan huizenruil. ;-))
See you around buddy. Hugs D.
That is two beautiful sunsets, well worth posting, and no, we never do get tired of beautiful sunsets !!:)
Lovely, Rick, and I'm with you ... never enough sunset shots since no two sunsets are the same!
Beautiful Rick, and NO you cant have enuf sunsets or sunrises, each one is different, never to be captured again.
@Riet - weer bedankt Riet. Ik hoop gauw bij je blog op visite te komen.
@Barefoot from Heaven - thank you Dagmar; that was a reflection off a window at the back of the house.
Ja, dat zou heel fijn zijn om zo een keer te ruilen. Ik ben nog nooit in Limburg geweest. Groetjes.
@bonifer - I agree - I'm always a sucker for more and grab the camera whenever the sky gives me that sunset signal. Thanks.
@joey - you're right about each being different. Who else could create such a vast variety of sky paintings ?
@imac - absolutely right on mac. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
The first shot is just so awesome Rick.
I love the creativity...

@Photog Ave - thanks Avery; 'framed' this one a bit in the back window. I was happy it turned out since it was getting almost too dark for hand held shots.
I love how you took that first shot Rick, the window pane or frame added a lot to this sunset photo! And no, one can never have too many sunset or sunrise shots. We are blessed with one every day and each one is a new one, that's a part of the beauty of sunsets and sunrises.
Don't think I'll need more than a "WOW" on this one. First shot is sublime.
@darlin - thank you; a fortuitous find for sure (there's my bit of alliteration ;-) Isn't it just wonderful how our Creator paints us such beautiful paintings daily - for night owls and early birds alike! :)
@M. Hassan - thanks M. Hope your volunteering is going well.
Just gorgeous. That reflection—so unique! Thanks.
@Jeanne Klaver - thanks Jeanne (see the Ansel Adams quote in my profile - explains it all).
