(Day 142) At the going down of the sun ...

... I just had to go out and make a few photos. Family was visiting, and we were just going to have coffee and goodies, when I noticed a glorious sunset developing. How could I let such an opportunity pass ? (My wife says I have enough sunset shots, but can you ever have enough ??). I'll just share a couple, even though it isn't Sunset Sunday yet.

Beautiful Rick, and NO you cant have enuf sunsets or sunrises, each one is different, never to be captured again.

@Riet - weer bedankt Riet. Ik hoop gauw bij je blog op visite te komen.

@Barefoot from Heaven - thank you Dagmar; that was a reflection off a window at the back of the house.

Ja, dat zou heel fijn zijn om zo een keer te ruilen. Ik ben nog nooit in Limburg geweest. Groetjes.

@bonifer - I agree - I'm always a sucker for more and grab the camera whenever the sky gives me that sunset signal. Thanks.

Rick said...

@joey - you're right about each being different. Who else could create such a vast variety of sky paintings ?

Rick said...

@imac - absolutely right on mac. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

I love the creativity...

@Photog Ave - thanks Avery; 'framed' this one a bit in the back window. I was happy it turned out since it was getting almost too dark for hand held shots.

I love how you took that first shot Rick, the window pane or frame added a lot to this sunset photo! And no, one can never have too many sunset or sunrise shots. We are blessed with one every day and each one is a new one, that's a part of the beauty of sunsets and sunrises.

Don't think I'll need more than a "WOW" on this one. First shot is sublime.

@darlin - thank you; a fortuitous find for sure (there's my bit of alliteration ;-) Isn't it just wonderful how our Creator paints us such beautiful paintings daily - for night owls and early birds alike! :)
