Are you a sunset lover ? If not, read and look no further - this post won't be for you.
Since you are (because you're still reading) you're probably familiar with Scott's Sunset Sunday theme which has been active for over a year. You can join in - simply post a sunset (along with anything else, if you like) on Sunday. The sunset doesn't have to occur on Sunday.
Can you ever have TOO MANY sunsets ? I'm on the side that says no. Not only are sunsets different from evening to evening but they morph into a kaleidoscope (Wikipedia - " from the Ancient Greek καλ(ός) (beauty, beautiful), είδο(ς) (form, shape) and -σκόπιο (tool for examination) – hence "observer of beautiful forms.") of shapes and colours during their brief lifespan.
Like all things that are rich to the senses (think chocolate, ice cream, pastry ...) too much of a good thing dulls the senses. So I'm posting only 2 shots for this Sunday.

So beautiful *.*
WOW<that last image is made of pure gold,or at least that is whet it looks like.
Thank you!! :D
Who doesn't love sunsets?! The colors in these photos are totally amazing. Great job capturing them and thanks for sharing.
I like both of these, each so different and so nice.
Rick these are once again phenomenal! I love them both, the top one reminds me of last summer at the lake when it was so nice out.
The second shot has such magnificent color. I love how the sun reflects off the water and it appears the water meets the sky. It's a good thing that boats there or I wouldn't be able to tell where the water ends and the sky begins... so beautiful!
Have a fantastic week and thanks for the thought provoking response on my blog.
Gold.
Pure gold.
Sunsets always take my breath away. Always the same thing but each one so unique.
Amazing photo sunsets !!!!
The colors are fantastic !!!
Greetings
Excellent backlight very evocative and poetic "The second is my favorite for its spectacular hues. Greetings.
Thanks for your comment on my blog, a former dutch I think when I see your name and the dutch reaction?

Love the skyline picture. The branch really gives it depth, such a beautiful sky!
Bea-u-ti-ful! =)
You are spoiling us with your sunsets...
This orange light, ahhh!
WOW, so beautiful!
I love the color in that second shot...the birds flying around the boat too!
Thanks Soraia !
Thank you Ruth - there are incredible sunsets down here !
Thank you Elizabeth - I never get enough of them either (but my wife can't understand why I still shoot more !).
Thanks Scott.
Thanks Darlene - the people on the boat were out there enjoying the sunset also. It was as though the sky was on fire, and it kept changing. Thanks for letting me rant on your post ;-)
You're right Dawn - a sunset every evening but no two alike.
Thank you Magda - glad you liked them.
Thanks Leovi - amazingly the sky was a light blue when the sunset began and quickly changed through this orange/gold colour before it reverted to a blue/orange when the sun sank.
Hallo biebkriebels - ook bedankt voor uw bezoek ! Yes - born in IJsselmuiden, came to Canada at age 6; 'k spreek nog altijd nederlands met mijn ouders, en ik heb het ook leren lezen.
Thank you Melissa !
Thanks Tricia !
Glad I could share them and that you enjoyed them, Monika !
Obrigado, Mariiana !
Thank you Tammy (the birds weren't interested in the sunset though ;-)
