Our talented but lonely pond denizen

Thought I heard some lyrics coming from the pond early this evening, so I got a little closer, and sure enough, I heard them quite clearly ...

"Long distance call I got today
She sounded lonely so I'm on my way
Hitchin' a ride, hitchin' a ride
Gotta get me home, keep her satisfied

Ride, ride, ride, hitchin' a ride
Ride, ride, ride, hitchin' a ride ..."

Dank je wel Riet - je kent dat liedje zeker ...

LOL Marty ! That frog is easily fooled by the wooden stare of the canard ! Merci pour les bisous, and I send live ones in return pour toi !

Perfect words for this photo. Question: is this the same species as in your June 21 posting? If so, this one looks like it's changing color, like a camouflage.

Ha. I love Love this . Great Shot. :)

Hi Jeanne - no, this is a totally different species. This one is a tree frog and the one on the pond is either a leopard frog or a green frog. The tree frog apparently is only in the water to breed.

LOL Katherine - you have a gift ! I like how your mind works too ;-)

Obrigado teca ! A warm and joyful weekend to you, with beijos !!

LOL - thank you Lisa !
