It was weather for neither man nor beast today - one of those typical wild, wet, windy March days. We had rain, driven by a cold east wind, and as it got colder, the rain turned to wet snow - really just too miserable to subject the camera to. So I had to interrupt my little mini-series on local scenes and snippets of history to just play with light. And it was blue light I was playing with - reflecting the mood of the weather.

Cool photos Rick, never a dull moment in your world eh? :-) I too don't allow the weather to stop me from playing, life's way to short to allow a day to pass me by without a wee bit of play time!
@darlin - thanks. I agree - carpe diem!
I really like #3.
Green, red, now blue. What's next? :)

even the blue is beautiful :)
Very 'cool' and interesting, Rick!
I hate that kind of weather, but I'm happy it forced you to come up with these creative light photography shots.
@Avery - thanks. I didn't realize I'd followed a colour scheme - you're observant! Now I'll have to consciously pick my next colour :)
@anonymous - thanks :)
@joey - thank you (nice pun too :)
@M - thank you. I always like to play around a bit with light just to see what happens.
How fun and funky! I love the shade of blue. The second shot is my favourite... the flowers are so pretty! Sorry to hear your weather is rotten. It's not too bad again here today. The sun shines about ten minutes per hour. lol not too bad for march!
@Krista - thanks for having a look, and thanks for sending the sun over. We're back to winter tonight/tomorrow - low of -14C (!!!), high of -4C - no snow though :)
