More confirmation came in Virginia, and today I managed a few shots through the front windshield (at 120 kph/75 mph - oops, sorry) in New York state. The photo tells the story. (I'm starting to feel more in the Christmas spirit already).

Beautiful sunset! Thanks for the reminder, I even have one on my p&s that I forgot I shot today, I was going to say tonight but it was only about 4:15! It's nowhere near your magnificent shot but it's a sunset nonetheless, something I haven't seen here in a long time.
