... or at least they did, if you read the history books. Today we drove to old Rhodes town. Words cannot describe this amazing place adequately, and I made over 300 photos! You need to google this and the Palace of the Grand Masters to read about it and see more photos than I could possibly post here. I will just show you 2 photos. We spent almost the entire day here, but 2 weeks would not be sufficient to see and experience it all. We plan to return here for another look during our trip.

dear Rick, what a beautiful interesting pictures, the funny thing is that my son has made a trip there in August and when I read Rhodes, it just got joy, nor a great time in this beautiful counter, Love Grüße von Jasmin aus Deutschland...
Only two weeks? Great photos. Can't wait to see more of this adventure.

Yes Rick, thanks for taking us on holidays with you and broadening our horizons. This place looks absolutely amazing. Definitely a great subject for photos. Have fun!
I thought all roads led to Rome :-D
Yep, I believe you when you say: "Amazing Place" - Been there myself, many moons ago :-)
I am glad that you are enjoying your vacation! Or are you on that MEDITERRANEAN QUEST FOR THE MYSTERIOUS WHITE HIBISCUS?
Greetz,
Joseph
Okay, so I was a little off with my guess that you went to Australia... oops, should have finished catching up first.
This place is magnificent, only 300 photos? That's it? Just kidding of course, you take such magnificent photos that you only need 100 whereas I would have to shoot about 1000 to even get anywhere close to yours.
I had to go back and take another look, these photos and the scenery are breathtaking!
You had me going for a few minutes. I looked at the dates on these last few photos and thought "Wait a minute, it hasn't been that long since I looked for Rick's pics." Then I saw the dates of the other comments. Anyway, This is beautiful, It looks like it came right out of a travel brochure or coffee table book. Love the villa by early light also. Very nice.
This is a place I hope to visit in the not too long future! Keep the photos coming, Rick...I am really enjoying them!
excellent compositions! beautiful place! regards
