1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters,
3 He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for You are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Rick these are serenely beautiful water shots & I love the accompanying bible passage. It is so true ... when I am near beautiful water, I always feel more at peace! Just lovely Rick!
such clear, vivid reflections ... perfect choice of scripture
The reflection of the trees in the first shot is captivating but there is something about the third shot that really speaks to me...I want to be there in that place wandering the grounds and contemplating God. Stunning as always.
This Psalm has become even more meaningful to me recently. The pictures are wonderful and show a place of peace.Thanks.
Blessings,Ruth
Superb landscapes - perfect illustration for magnificent words
quiet, indeed...beautiful. I love the curve of the bridge and the perspective of the shot.
Completely what I need right now....quiet waters.
Hoping I get "led" this way very soon....
Thanks for sharing these peaceful shots.
I love the reflections and what an appropriate verse for these photos. What a calming post, soothing, hmmm what's the word I'm looking for? Peaceful, that's it, a calming, soothing, peaceful post. Thanks Rick.
@Katherine - thank you Katherine - I'm glad you see the peace in them and may you find some too.
@S. Etole - thank you Susan; sometimes inspiration just hits us right between the eyes ! And the music I'm listening to right now is "That Sheep May Safely Graze" - how coincidental ... or not.
@Cat/The Whimsical Gardener - I spent over an hour in this place; it was very quiet here in the countryside - only 1 car and 1 jogger came by - a great place to enjoy the creation, and the Creator of it all !
Thanks for stopping by Cat.
@Ruth's Photo Blog - what a comfort for this life and the life to come ! He certainly does lead us by quiet waters, even when we don't realize it.
Blessings to you and Jake.

Joseph
Wonderful shots! It's a special place, isn't it!
Kisses, honey, and a great weekend.
@Lisa - thank you Lisa, and I'm glad you enjoyed them.
I just got my ultra-wide lens less than 2 months ago - it's wonderful what can be done with it, although it's easy to get distortion if you're not careful.
You'll do well on the anniversary - just enjoy, relax, and do the amazing photography you always do.
Thanks for visiting.
@CarreraCaballo - Joseph, great that you tried it; your comment made me try it and I like the result almost better than the original !
Have a great weekend !
@teca - yes it is, peaceful and calm, although one's mind needs to be in a similar state to enjoy it.
