(Day 286) He leads me beside quiet waters

 1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
       He leads me beside quiet waters,
 3 He restores my soul.
       He guides me in paths of righteousness
       for his name's sake.
 4 Even though I walk
       through the valley of the shadow of death,
       I will fear no evil,
       for You are with me;
       your rod and your staff,
       they comfort me.
 5 You prepare a table before me
       in the presence of my enemies.
       You anoint my head with oil;
       my cup overflows.
 6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
       all the days of my life,
       and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
       forever.

Rick these are serenely beautiful water shots & I love the accompanying bible passage. It is so true ... when I am near beautiful water, I always feel more at peace! Just lovely Rick!

The reflection of the trees in the first shot is captivating but there is something about the third shot that really speaks to me...I want to be there in that place wandering the grounds and contemplating God. Stunning as always.

@S. Etole - thank you Susan; sometimes inspiration just hits us right between the eyes ! And the music I'm listening to right now is "That Sheep May Safely Graze" - how coincidental ... or not.

@Cat/The Whimsical Gardener - I spent over an hour in this place; it was very quiet here in the countryside - only 1 car and 1 jogger came by - a great place to enjoy the creation, and the Creator of it all !

Thanks for stopping by Cat.

Wonderful shots! It's a special place, isn't it!

Kisses, honey, and a great weekend.

@Lisa - thank you Lisa, and I'm glad you enjoyed them.

I just got my ultra-wide lens less than 2 months ago - it's wonderful what can be done with it, although it's easy to get distortion if you're not careful.

You'll do well on the anniversary - just enjoy, relax, and do the amazing photography you always do.

Thanks for visiting.
