(Day 274) Fall at my neighbour's

I went over to steal fall at my neighbour's place today. You see, he's got a few beautiful maple trees just across the road and I have a dearth of maples. I'm afraid that with the next strong wind, most of that colour will fall to the ground. So this afternoon I slipped through the fence with my camera and captured the colour - I'm sure they didn't mind sharing.

Are those awesome trees close to where you live? If they are, then I'm jealous ;)

Oh my heart is sligtly heavy today after seeing so many "northeners" post their fall foliage photos! We're still in the high 80's (and grateful for the "cool" spell!)here in Austin. You are blessed to be able to walk amongst such rich fall color!

Btw, I love how you post the settings of your camera. I'm just keeping my blogging head above water at the moment but hope to add that detail at some point. It's nice to see what differences settings make in your photography.

Have a great weekend!

Thank you very much for your comments. Nice pictures, you show the language skills to develop abstract images. But neither Rick abandon its project. Greetings.

Rick, I never would have thought you to be one who climbs through others fences... oh my! LMAO I would have done the same thing to capture this beauty, well that or rang the doorbell and asked if they minded first, and if they did then I would resort to climbing under, over, through fences! lol

You captured Autumn in Canada exquisitely, beautiful rich colors and in a country setting.... ahhh, there's nothing like it. I personally feel that we are entitled to this magnificent scenery, we know what lies ahead and I shudder to think of it right at the moment!

Cheers, have a fantastic weekend and the Good Lord willing I'll see you here again real soon.

@jasmin - yes, you're right, and yours were beautiful. Fall is a wonderful time of the year with all the vibrant colours !

@M. Hassan - yes, they belong to my neighbour across the road - a 3-minute walk.

@Cat/The Whimsical Gardener - ah, your time will come ;-) We'll be knee-deep in snow when you're posting your fall colours !

I started posting my camera settings after some people inquired - not sure if it helps anyone.

My weekend was great - hope yours was too (we were away at a wedding).

@S. Etole - glad I got it when I did - more than half the leaves are gone as of today !

@teca - thank you teca. I'm a little late getting to these - we were away for the weekend, but the weekend was great - hope yours was too !

Beijos !!

@becky - thank you; yes, I make it a point now to capture the moment for it's gone all too soon.

@Leovi - gracias; I'm starting to think about what I might do after I complete the 365 project (the end is almost in sight).

@darlin - I didn't have to climb over or under - the fence (wire) was cut open a few years ago so I could just walk through. It would have been quite a bit further to walk to the neighbour and I'm sure he would not have minded (sometimes it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission).

Thank you Darlene - I so enjoyed capturing the fall beauty. My weekend was great (although very hectic driving 1,000 km to attend a wedding) - hope yours was as good.

@marty - merci marty ! Yes, rain seems to bring out the colours even more, although it's tough to shoot in a downpour.

I hope your weekend was a good one ! Bisous marty !!
